Twin Stroller

BumbleRide Indie Twin Stroller
If you need a twin stroller you probably know how many different kinds there are out
there. Whether you have two small children of different ages or a set of twins, the twin stroller you choose
is one you’ll have to live with for quite a while. These baby strollers are quite pricey so be certain you
know exactly what you need before you go shopping.
Where Will You Be Using Your Twin Stroller?
First, where will you be using the twin stroller? Some parents just leave it
parked in the garage for a walk around the block while others are putting it in and taking it out of their vehicle
one or more times per day. Other parents like to attend a lot of activities, go to open air markets, browse through
museums or walk through a mall. A heavy stroller will quickly wear you out as you haul it in and out of the trunk
or cargo space!
Side By Side Or Tandem Baby Strollers?
There are two types of twin strollers to choose from.

Graco Twin IPO Stroller, Navarro
The first is the traditional side by side baby strollers. These can be very
convenient, especially if you have very young children that tend to nap a lot. Both seats can recline, the children
can see and interact with each other and there is lots of room for their legs. The downside is that the children
can also reach each other to fight or grab the other’s toy and the wide design can be difficult to maneuver in
narrow aisles or around sharp corners. If there is only one child with you this type of twin stroller can be
difficult to steer.

Baby Trend Double Sit N Stand Stroller, Skylar
The tandem stroller, where one child sits behind the other, comes in several
models. There is stadium seating where the rear seat is slightly elevated, regular seating on the same level or
swivel seating that allows the children to face each other. One model even allows the rear seat to convert to a
platform for a toddler to stand on while the younger child uses the front seat.
The drawbacks to tandem strollers is that one child can kick the front seat,
there may be a lack of legroom as the child in the back seat grows, only one child can recline and the design is
harder to maneuver. It is, however, easier to steer in crowds and some models can convert to carriers or car
seats.
Be sure to consider your needs as well as the children’s. Do you need a place for
your purse, a drink or the diaper bag? Do the seats or seat pads come out for easy cleaning? How versatile your
twin stroller is depends on how often you travel; some parents want the stroller seats to be car seats and others
are flexible.
Be sure that the baby stroller you choose has room for your children to grow, has
no parts that will cut or pinch and has safety features as well as any extras you might want.
